There are Women Out There that Want to Wear Your Stuff

Adria Richards of Aden Networks, Zendesk customer, technology blogger and organic technology consultant, has posted her latest Ask Adria Show titled "Taking My Shirt Off for Software". It's completely SFW but she is actually taking off her Zendesk tee, while making her point pretty clear: Zendesk and other software slash web 2.0 companies don't make shirts/tees for women. It's all men sizes and men lines.

"There are women out there that wanna wear your stuff. And they can't."

And yes, she is actually comparing the Zendesk tee to a Windows XP shirt. That hurts. But we hear you loud and clear, Adria. You make an excellent point and we're on it.

Zendesk,

I thank you for stepping up! Yes, completely Safe For Work (SFW). I have never taken off my clothes in front of a camera or a live audience but I needed to make a statement.

Instead of complaining, I took action. For the show, I did my research on options from your t-shirt company, compared 6 other techie t-shirts I own, explained how I felt not having a t-shirt that fits and explained the potential market share that was being snubbed.

You rock!
